Obituary of Margaret Nelson

Margaret West Nelson 68, of Elmwood, Lunenburg Co., passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Montreal, Quebec she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Black) Stevenson. She worked for many years for Sears Canada and also W.N. White & Co. Margaret was heavily involved with TOPS, she was a long time member of The Royal Canadian Legion and at the time of her passing she was a member of Branch 102, New Germany. She was also a very avid bowler. Besides her husband Scott she is survived by her son Allan (Sharon), Scarborough, Ontario; daughter Ellen (Douglas) Borden, Springfield; brother Robert (Mary) Stevenson, Pickering, Ontario; grandsons Derek and Mark; great grandson Geoffery; several nieces and nephews. In keeping with her continually giving ways she has donated her remains to medical science. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 2pm Sunday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home 4895 route 10, New Germany, Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Family flowers only.
