Obituary of Owen Nowe

Owen Harley Nowe 86, of Conquerall Mills and Lunenburg, passed away February 10, 2004, in the Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Conquerall Mills, he was a son of the late George and Hattie (Stewart) Nowe. He is survived by daughters, Linda (Jack) Murphy, Conquerall Mills; Suzanne Nowe (Owen Crouse), Lower Branch; grandchildren, Craig (Lillian) Oakes, Conquerall Mills; Jaye Murphy, Halifax; Nadia Murphy (Tyler Naugler), Halifax; 3 great grandchildren, Samantha, Devin and Cassandra Oakes; sisters, Audrey Baldwin, Arlene Lang; a brother, Beaumont. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Vera Stewart; brothers, Marshall and Murray. In keeping with Owen’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held 11am Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. A private family burial will be held in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Conquerall Mills, at a later date.
