Obituary of Jean Oickle

Jean Gloria Oickle 80, Newcombville, Lunenburg Co., passed away Friday, March 12, 2004 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Hebbs Cross, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Della (Dorey) Croft. Surviving are her husband, Lawrence; children, Samuel (Patricia) Oickle, West Clifford; Gloria (Murray) Snyder, Conquerall Bank; Gail (Herbert) Sperry, Petite Riviere; Terry (Evelyn) Oickle, Newcombville; Bernice Harlow, Bridgewater. 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren. Sisters, Kathleen Ward, Camperdown; Mary Lohnes, Hebbville. She was predeceased by brothers, Lawrence and Basil. Visitation for family and friends will be 7-9 p.m., Monday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and where funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Mark Wagschal officiating. Interment in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
