Obituary of Evelyn Penney

Evelyn Pearl Penney 88, of Upper Northfield, Lunenburg County, passed away April 5, 2004 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Upper Northfield, she a daughter of the late Willis and Anna (Bruhm) Veinot. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Upper Northfield and the Goodwill Sewing Circle, Lower Group. She is survived by son Gary (Donna), Upper Northfield; 3 grandchildren, Troy, Derek and Neil; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Ross (Jean), Stanburne. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford; sister, Lorna in infancy. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11am Thursday in the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Upper Northfield, Rev. William Gustafson officiating. Family burial will follow in the Old Upper Northfield Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Upper Northfield, N. S. Heart and Stroke Foundation, N.S. Diabetic Association or any charity of your choice.
