Obituary of Margaret Publicover

Margaret Irene Publicover 84, of West Dublin, Lunenburg County, passed away February 28, 2004, at Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg, where she was a resident for the past seven and a half years. Born in Auburndale, she was a daughter of the late Issac and Jennie (Hebb) Rhodenizer. She, along with her husband Roy, owned and operated Woodside Fur Farm. She was a hard worker, devoted to her home and family life. She always had a great sense of humor and enjoyed gardening, boat trips, picnics and family visits. She was a terrific cook and quilt maker. In her younger years, she was an active member of St. John’s Anglican Church Ladies Guild. She is survived by daughters, Jennie May (Joseph) Raczkovi; Betty Lou (Wilfred) Cormier; Martha (Harvey) Kaizer; 2 step sons, Cecil and Ronald Publicover; grandchildren, Samuel and Aaron Raczkovi, Lisa, Wanda, Julie and Anthony Cormier; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Verna (Roy) Fraser, Bernice Rhodenizer, Marion Ewer, Geraldine Tanner, Edith Proctor, Marjorie Conrad; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy; brothers Murray and Raymond; sister Ruby Corkum. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday from St. John’s Anglican Church, West Dublin, Rev. Gary Alcock officiating. Burial will be in the Bay View Cemetery, West Dublin. Family flowers only.
