Obituary of Audrey Stewart

Audrey Robena Stewart 87, Hebbs Cross, passed away at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater on Wednesday, March 24, 2004. Born July 10, 1916 in Camperdown, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Lottie (Croft) Sarty. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Audrey and Leland were the original owners and operators of the Lakeview Restaurant, now known as the Blarney Stone. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Camperdown, Hebbs Cross Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and Willing Workers Club. She is survived by her husband Leland; children Ivan (Mary), Barbara, Tony, Mickey (Linda); 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. Sisters, Josephine Lacey, Betty Rafuse and Helen Huskins. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother Clyde; sisters, Nellie Rafuse, Marion Silver; great grandson Philip. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m., Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral 2 p.m., Saturday in Christ Lutheran Church, Camperdown. Rev. Paul Jensen officiating.
