Obituary of Nikolaos Tselegidis

Nikolaos Tselegidis 71, of Stolberg, Germany and Greenfield, Queens County, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2004, surrounded by his loving family after a brief stay in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Pontokomi, Greece, he was a son of the late Lazaros and Evropi (Manousaridou) Tselegidis. He is survived by his wife, Lydia (Herrlich); children, Stefan (Sofia and children) Tselegidis, Thessaloniki, Greece; Maria Tselegidis, Munich, Germany; Irina (Brett) Bordyn, San Antonio, Texas; a brother and 3 sisters, all in Germany and Greece. He was predeceased by a son, Alexandros. Visitation will be held Sunday from 7 to 8pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 2pm Monday, Father Peter officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Rest Cemetery, Greenfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hillside Pines Home For Special Care, Bridgewater.
