Obituary of Lee Tufts

Lee Ray Tufts 82, of Stanburne, Lunenburg Co., passed away Saturday, July 17, 2004 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Simpsons Corner he was a son of the late Heber and Elva (Veinot) Tufts. Besides his wife the former Hazel Drew he is survived by his daughters, Marilyn (Garnet) Keddy, Stanburne; Elaine (Gerald) Oickle, Conquerall Mills; Marsha (Ray) Neiley, Coldbrook: Maureen (Ron) Benedict, Shubenacadie; Valerie Smith, Bridgewater, brothers Ira (Rose), Lunenburg; Lyn, Truro; sisters, Ola Savary, Halifax; Ila Vidito, Nictaux; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers Roy, Sheldon and Guy; sisters Una Tipert and Fay Whynot. Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm in Sweenys Funeral Home 4895 route 10 New Germany from where the funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1030am, Rev. Joan Conrad officiating. Burial will follow in the Barss Corner Community Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice.
