Obituary of Roland Veinot

Ronald Leon Veinot 79 of Lake Pleasant, born in New Albany. He was the son of the late Clyde and Emma Veinot. Left to mourn are his wife, Eileen LaVerne Varner; son Eric, (Leslie), Dwayne, Ryan (Andrea) of Halifax; daughter Ann (Chester), Wendell, (Ann), and Matthew, Terry and Jesse of Springfield; daughter Bonnie, (Donnie), Stephanie, Teresa, (Rob) and Spencer, Ben of British Columbia; son Paul, (Marsha), Greg, (Kim), Marissa and Mitchell, Jody (Alissa) of Springfield; son Ace, (Colleen), Patrick, Thomas, Andrew of Lake Pleasant; son Jeff, (Annette), Deanna, Rebecca; brothers Vernon of North River, Raymond of Halifax and sister Agnes of Middleton. Ronald was a veteran of WWII and a founding and lifelong member of the Springfield Fire Dept. He was a member of the United Church of New Albany.He was predeceased by great grandson Christopher. No funeral service will be held by request of the family. Donations may be made to Springfield Baptist Church, Springfield or the Springfield Fire Department.
