Obituary of Barbara Weagle

Barbara Ann Weagle 83, Danesville, Lunenburg Co., passed away Monday, March 22, 2004 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Barbara (Crawford) Henderson. She was a veteran of the Second World War, serving with the British Army. She emigrated to Canada in December 1944 as a warbride. She was a faithful member of Danesville United Church. Surviving are her daughters, Lorna (Malcolm) McEachern, Brockville, Ont; Alice (Earl) Croft, Middlewood; Shirley (David) Penney, Etobicoke, Ont. 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband, Russell, a son Murray. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Thursday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday in Danesville United Church, Danesville. Rev. Karen Ohrt officiating. Burial will follow in Middlewood United Church Cemetery, Middlewood. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Danesville United Church.
