Obituary of Thelma Wile

Thelma Marie (Tufts) Wile Of Wileville; wife of the late LeRoy Wile, 67, passed away January 31, 2004 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Simpson’s Corner, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Tufts and Lillian Tufts (Hyson). She was employed at various restaurants in the Bridgewater and surrounding area for 47 years. Her good times were playing cards with her friends, country music shows and spending time helping and being with her family and friends. She was loved and will be sadly missed by her family; brothers, Stephen Maden and wife Maxine, England; Allan Tufts and wife Ravenna, West Dublin; Albert Tufts and wife Edna, Simpson’s Corner; Alden Tufts and wife Sharon, Newcombville; sister, Judy Joudrey and husband Mike, Baker Settlement; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Mildred Langille, Daisy Conrad; brother, Alfred Tufts and 4 brothers in infancy. A memorial service will be held 11am Tuesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, Rev. Wayne Mitton officiating. Private family burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Simpson’s Corner. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Hillside Cemetery, Simpson’s Corner.
