Obituary of Marie Wyman

Marie Adele Wyman Due to the winter storm, the funeral service date has been changed to Wednesday 17 November at 1:30pm, same location. 56, Bridgewater, formerly of Petite Riviere, passed away November 10, 2004 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Petite Riviere, she was a daughter of Melba Veinot (Hayward) and the late Kelly Dean Hayward. She was a member of Wesley Untied Church, Petite Riviere then transferred to the United Baptist Church of Bridgewater. She worked at Dept. of Community Services for 20 years. She was a wonderful wife and mother. She had many friends and was always cheerful. She fought a courageous battle against cancer with great strength and determination. Marie developed passion for scrap-booking and many family and friends were recipients of her beautifully crafted cards. She was an original member of the Lunenburg / Queens Chapter of MADD Canada. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by son, Steven Wyman and friend Stephanie, Halifax; mother Melba Veinot, stepfather Eric Veinot, Bridgewater. Brothers, David (Valerie) Hayward, Bridgewater; Wayne (Connie) Hayward, Dartmouth; sisters in law Emilie Hayward, Branch LaHave; Judi (Bruno) Pardee; Diann Wyman, Connecticut; Bev (Pat) Gallagher, Yarmouth; brothers in law, Grant (Linda) Wyman, Terry Wyman, all of Bridgewater Bridgewater; Dwight (Sherry) Wyman, Halifax; step sisters, Gail Veinot, PEI; Sharon (Donnie) Selig, Hammonds Plains; Carolyn (Eddie) Llewlyn, Middlewood; Aunt Adele, many uncles, aunts, nieces, cousins. Marie was predeceased by husband Donald Wyman, daughter Cara Wyman, brother, Earle Hayward. Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2004 in the United Baptist Church of Bridgewater. Rev. Pat Gow officiating. Family flowers only, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Untied Baptist Church of Bridgewater Memorial Fund or Lunenburg / Queens Chapter of MADD Canada.
