Obituary of Franklyn Zwicker

Franklyn John "Frankie" Zwicker Well Known Baker Settlement Plumber Passes Away 49, Baker Settlement, Lunenburg Co., passed away Monday, October 25, 2004 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, with his family at his side after suffering a stroke. Born in Bridgewater, he was the son of Esther (Wile) (Zwicker) Wentzell, Baker Settlement and the late Harold Zwicker, step son of Cyril Wentzell, Baker Settlement. Frank began his plumbing career along with his brother, Leonard, with the former Powers Bros. of Lunenburg. He worked for a short period of time at Michelin in Bridgewater. In 1991 he began his own business known as Frank Zwicker Plumbing and Heating Limited working from his home in Baker Settlement. He also enjoyed working on his Christmas tree land; he had hoped to spend more time doing this with his new John Deere tractor which was to be his dream come true. He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 29 years, Anne (Bolivar); special daughter, Amy (Andrew Morine), Bridgewater; sisters, Lucy (Bruce) Bailey, Dayspring; Anne Llewellyn (Paul Naugler), Camperdown; brother, Richard (Beverly), Italy Cross; sister in law, Diane Zwicker, Wileville; aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins; and family pet dog, Dana. He was predeceased by his brother Leonard Zwicker of Wileville. Visitation will be 7 – 9 p.m. Thursday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater with cremation to follow. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater. Rev. Mark Wagschal officiating. Private family burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater at a later date. A reception will follow at the Zwicker home in Wileville. Immediate family flowers only.
