Obituary of Marilyn Bentley

Marilyn Bentley 56, Of Pleasantville, Lunenburg County, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at home. Born in Burnt Island, Newfoundland, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Sarah Courtney. Surviving are her husband, David; sons, Scott, Bridgewater; Peter, at home. 2 grandchildren, Logan and Larissa. Brother, Robert (Louise) Courtney, Bay Saint Lawrence, Cape Breton; sister, Deanna (Tom) Keeping, Burnt Island. She was predeceased by a sister, Florence and nephew, Godfrey. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday in Pleasantville Baptist Church, Pleasantville. Pastor Quincy Collins officiating. Burial to follow in Pleasantville Cemetery, Pleasantville. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Pleasantville Baptist Church.
