Obituary of Jean Danyleyko

Jean Elizabeth Danyleyko 80, of New Germany, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2005 in the Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Simpsons Corner, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the later Harris and Gladys (Simpson) Wile. In her earlier years, she was an assistant cookee with Bowater Mersey and a seamstress for Suttles and Seawinds. She also was a member of St’ John’s Anglican Church and the ladies Guild in New Germany. She volunteered with the Canadian Cancer Society and with the 1st New Germany Brownies, Girl Guides and Cubs. Jean is survived by her loving children, Deborah Woodworth (Kevin Johnstone), Bridgewater; Susan (John) MacDonald, Moncton, NB; Angela (Robert) Russell, Simpsons Corner; Margo Woodworth, Kentville; Tim (Tracy) Woodworth, New Canada; grandchildren, Mark, Jennifer, Jessica, Deven, Luke, Jared; sisters, Norma, Irene, Phyllis. She was predeceased by brother, Chester; sisters, Ruby, Roxie, Barbara, Audrey, Agnes and Maxine. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A graveside service will be held in the spring of 2006 at the Simpsons Corner Cemetery. An announcement will be made at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jean’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of N.S. or the Canadian Cancer Society.
