Obituary of Molly Manley

Molly Emma Manley 87, of Hebbs Cross, Lunenburg County, passed away April 24, 2001 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in England, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Emma (Stowe) Leverington. She was a veteran of the Second World War having served with the Royal Navy. She worked as a hostess on the passenger liner Queen Elizabeth as well as many other ships for many years sailing the seven seas. She is survived by her husband John; 4 sisters, Doris, Bridgewater; Nancy, Louisa and Joyce, all of England; 2 brothers, Bert and Frank, both of England; a sister-in-law Cath , England; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Bob. A memorial service will be held 11am Saturday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Burial at sea will take place at a later date. No flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Society of Nova Scotia. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request.
