Obituary of Arnold Hebb

Arnold Bamford Hebb 74, Newcombville, Lunenburg County, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2005 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Newcombville, he was a son of the late Joseph and Annie (Hebb) Hebb. Arnold was a farmer all his life as was also a school bus driver for 23 years. He served on many organizations including the Lunenburg – Queens Federations of Agriculture, and was a member of the Bridgewater United Church where he served as an elder for many years including chairman of the Christian Education Committee. He was a past Sunday school superintendent for the Union Church in Newcombville for many years. Surviving are his wife the former, Pauline Dares; sons, Gary (Karen), Newcombville; Byron, Wileville. Grandchildren, Nicole Barry, Rachel Hebb, Joseph Hebb, Shawn Bolivar, Spencer Hebb, Morgan Hebb. Brother, Douglas (Marina) Hebb, Wileville; sisters, Audrey Cook, Isaac’s Harbour; Olive (Owen) Turner, West Northfield; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Ervin, Percy, Russell, Melbourne and sister, Edith. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. today (Monday) in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bridgewater United Church, Bridgewater. Rev. Ivan Norton officiating. Burial to follow in Newcombville Cemetery, Newcombville.
