Obituary of Arnold Hebb

Arnold Bamford Hebb 74, Newcombville, Lunenburg County, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2005 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Newcombville, he was a son of the late Joseph and Annie (Hebb) Hebb. Arnold was a farmer all his life as was also a school bus driver for 23 years. He served on many organizations including the Lunenburg – Queens Federations of Agriculture, and was a member of the Bridgewater United Church where he served as an elder for many years including chairman of the Christian Education Committee. He was a past Sunday school superintendent for the Union Church in Newcombville for many years. Surviving are his wife the former, Pauline Dares; sons, Gary (Karen), Newcombville; Byron, Wileville. Grandchildren, Nicole Barry, Rachel Hebb, Joseph Hebb, Shawn Bolivar, Spencer Hebb, Morgan Hebb. Brother, Douglas (Marina) Hebb, Wileville; sisters, Audrey Cook, Isaac’s Harbour; Olive (Owen) Turner, West Northfield; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Ervin, Percy, Russell, Melbourne and sister, Edith. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. today (Monday) in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bridgewater United Church, Bridgewater. Rev. Ivan Norton officiating. Burial to follow in Newcombville Cemetery, Newcombville. Family flowers only, donations to Bridgewater United Church, South Shore Regional Hospital Foundation, Newcombville Cemetery or charity of choice.
