Obituary of Melbourne Lowe

Melbourne Cecil Lowe 76, Cherryfield, passed away, Saturday, January 29, 2005 in Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany, where he was currently residing. Born in Cherryfield, he was a son of the late Stephen and Laurena (Eagles) Lowe. Surviving is his wife the former Beatrice Viola Veinot. Daughters, Patsy (Curtis) Spidle; Dianne (Peter) Silver, all of New Germany; Lisa (Kriss) Seamone, Midville Branch. Sons, Karl (Sherry), Ayelsford; Blaine, Upper Branch. Sisters, Rosalie (Luther) Tanner, Cherryfield. Brother, Merlyn (Deborah) Lowe, Cherryfield. Grandchildren, Jonathan and Jessica Spidle; Kerry and Derek Seamone; Melanie Lowe; Dylan and Kyle Lowe. Mother in law, Oran Veinot, Cherryfield; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Erma Conrad, Phelma Naugler, infant sisters, Erna and Velma; brother, Mervin and father in law Gordon Veinot. Visitation 2-4 p.m., 7 – 9 p.m. Monday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany and where funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Leonard Bednar officiating. Private family interment will follow in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, North River. Family flowers only.
