Obituary of Annie Mader

Annie Laura Mader 98, New Germany, passed away on October 9, 2005 at the Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany, where she had been residing. Born in Stanley Section, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Sarah (Joudrey) Joudrey. She was a member of St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church, New Germany. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are her daughter, Vera Snyder, New Germany; son, Gordon “Joey”, North River. Grandsons, Richard Snyder, Michael Snyder, Dereck Snyder, Cedric Snyder. Great granddaughters, Nena, Julie, Angie, Nancy, Heidi. Many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Bernard; sisters, Levy Oxner, Alemeth Smith, Jean Joudrey, Elsie Turner, Myrtle Joudrey, Glennis Simpson; half sisters, Margaret Robar, Gladys Oxner; brothers, Joe, Charlie and Robert. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany, and where funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Robert Brush officiating. Burial to follow in Lakeside Cemetery, New Canada. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church, Rosedale Home for Special Care or Lakeside Cemetery.
