Obituary of Curtis Veinot

Curtis Basil Veinot 79 of Bridgewater passed away February 16, 2001 at his home in Bridgewater. Born in Hemford, Lunenburg Co., and was the son of the late Shirdy and Lillian (Nowe) Veinot. He was a veteran of WW2 serving as a paratrooper, he was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 24, Bridgewater and the Bridgewater United Baptist Church. He is survived by sons Lorne and his wife Marilyn; Blaine and his wife Elizabeth, grandsons Craig and his wife Marsha and Brett, all of Bridgewater. Brother Royden of Hemford; Sisters Irene Miller of Three Mile Plains; Verlie Johnson of Berwick; Kathleen Smith (Basil) of North Brookfield; Carroll Wile (Bernard) of Hemford. He was predeceased by his wife Beulah (Fancy); brothers Russell, Donald and Leo; Sisters Nina and Beulah. Visitation will be held Sunday 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11am Monday in the Bridgewater United Baptist Church, Rev. Penny Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or any charity.
