Obituary of Cecil Oickle

Cecil Robert "Bobby" Oickle 75, of Pinehurst, passed away on Monday October 17, 2005 at Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Bethel Maine, USA, he was the son of the late Fred and Grace (Crouse) Oickle. He is survived by his sons Dana (Wendy), New Canada; Alan (Doreen), Simpsons Corner; Franklyn (Thelma), North River; Michael (Theresa), Springfield and Matthew, Dalhousie. Sisters Pauline MacKay, New Germany; Mary Veinot, Berwick and Leola (Eugene) McKean, Pinehurst. 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Lina Woodworth and his brother Paul. Visitation 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm Wednesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home 4895 route 10, New Germany and from where the funeral service will be held 11am Thursday, Rev. Clayton Austin officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinehurst Community Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the family.
