Obituary of Sadie Oickle

Sadie Florence Oickle 96, Of New Germany, Lunenburg Co., passed away on September 27, 2005 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in New Germany, she was a daughter of the late Sandford and Ada (Feindel) Deal. She was a member of St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church, New Germany, where she was an active member of the former ACW and altar guild. Surviving are her daughters, Marcella (Fred) Oickle, Riverview, NB; Audrey (Winton) Russell, New Germany. Sisters, Nellie Robar, Evelyn Deal both of Meisners Section. Grandchildren, Kent Jodrey, Kim Brown, Scott Oickle, Greg Russell, Jeff Russell, Patty Spidle; 10 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Sinclair; two sons in infancy; daughter, Thelma Jodrey; grandsons, Clarence Jr., Derek; sisters, Viola Silver, Minnie Sarty; brothers, Archie Deal, Gordon Deal. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Thursday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 2 p.m. Friday in St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church, New Germany. Rev. Catherine Robar officiating. Family interment in the church cemetery.
