Obituary of Marie Phalen

Marie Lucille Phalen (Hirtle) 88, of Middlewood, formerly of Dublin Shore, Lunenburg County, passed away December 14, 2005 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Dublin Shore, she was a daughter of the late James and Eva (Croft) Publicover. She is survived by daughters, Janie (Rayburne) Whynot, Middlewood; Deborah Ann (David) Naugler, Hebbville; Geraldine Prosser, Moncton; sons, Donald (Deanna) Hirtle, Voglers Cove; James (Donna) Hirtle, Conquerall Bank; Kenneth (Laura) Hirtle, Center; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Basil Hirtle; second husband, Herman Phalen; companion, Lemuel Adams; sister, Althea Robar-Wolfe. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 1:30pm Sunday in the Knox Presbyterian Church, Dublin Shore, Rev Laurence Mawhinney officiating. Burial will follow in the Knox Presbyterian Cemetery, Dublin Shore.
