Obituary of Hilda Rafuse

Hilda Mae Rafuse 77, of Bridgewater, passed away September 4, 2005 at home. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Theophilus and Lena Weagle. In her early years, she worked at the Dawson Memorial Hospital and the Fish Plant in Lunenburg. She is survived by daughters, Virginia (Barrie) Himmelman; Anna (Wayne) DeMone; Wanda (Larry) Billard, all of Bridgewater; son Bruce (Darlene) Rafuse, Bridgewater; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Marie Brindly, Ont.; brothers, Gordon and Arnie Weagle, both of Bridgewater. She was predeceased by her husband Willis Joseph Rafuse; sons Gerald, Brian; daughter Julie in infancy; brother, Ralph; sisters, Vivian Wamboldt and Pauline Weagle.Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7-9 p.m., memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, both in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, with Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Private family i nterment will be in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater.
