Obituary of Chester Robar

Chester Harland Robar 64, of North River, passed away November 1, 2005 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in North River, he was a son of the late Elwood and Elda (Acker) Robar. He is survived by his wife, Cecilia; daughters, Geraldine Robar (Bruce Demone), Bridgewater; Dana Robar (Glenn Ernst), Cherryfield; grandchildren, Venesa Ernst and Devin Ernst, both of Cherryfield; brother, Gordon (Eleanor), North River; sister, Frances Carter, Berwick; step sister, Vivian Robar (Paul Lohnes), Watford; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Leona Hyson; niece, Sandra Russell; nephew, Lorne Hyson. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany and from where a memorial service will be held 2pm Friday, Rev Larry Ehrhardt officiating. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, N.S. Lung Association or the charity of your choice.
