Obituary of Nelson Veinot

Nelson St.Clair Veinot 67, Maplewood, Lunenburg Co., passed away, Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at home. Born in Newburne, he was a son of the late Hibbert and Maude (Zinck) Veinot. He was a member of Parkdale – Maplewood Baptist Church. He was retired from a career of carpentry and spent his last working years at Snyder’s Shipyard. He was an avid outdoorsman and jack of all trades. Surviving are his wife the former Barbara Foster; daughters, Carolea (Jeff) Kaulback, Bridgewater; Hayley (Christopher) Martell, Timberlea. Granddaughter, Courtney Dawn Martell. Brother, Richard, Newburne; sisters, Helen (Everett) Slauenwhite; Marjorie (Kevin) Oickle, all of New Germany. He was predeceased by brother, Ray. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday in Parkdale – Maplewood Baptist Church, Parkdale. Rev. Jennifer Joudrey officiating. Family interment will follow in Parkdale Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkdale – Maplewood Museum Expansion Fund, Parkdale – Maplewood Baptist Church, Parkdale – Maplewood Cemetery.
