Obituary of Lester Wamboldt

Lester Leander Wamboldt 83, Cherry Hill, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Born in East Port Medway, he was a son of the late Artie and Carrie (Tarr) Wamboldt. He is the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was a veteran of the second world war, serving overseas as a rifleman with the Queens Own Rifles. Surviving are his daughter, Cheryl (Michael) Langille, Voglers Cove; son, Kevin, Cherry Hill. Grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffery, Alecia, Kyle. He was predeceased by his wife the former Bernice Conrad; brothers, Fred, Harry; sisters, Winnifred Thomas. Visitation, 7-9 p.m. Thursday, funeral 1:30 p.m. Friday both in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Rev. Wayne Mitton officiating. Interment to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
