Obituary of Basil Weagle

Basil Carleton Weagle 87, Chelsea, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Chelsea, he was a son of the late Elias and Mary (Crouse) Weagle. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving in the North Atlantic Region. Surviving are his wife the former, Marion Labrador; daughter, Melody (Jay), Gold River; son, Randy (Trudi), Lunenburg. Grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Matthew, Ashton, Alicia. Great grandchildren Brandon, Justine, Payton, Jayden. He was predeceased by a son, Glenn; brother, Arch and brothers William and Harry in infancy. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral 11 a.m. Saturday in Chelsea Baptist Church, Chelsea. Rev. Tom Davidson officiating. Private family burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Chelsea Fire Department.
