Obituary of Gerald Wentzell
Gerald Myles Wentzell
77, of Watford, Lunenburg Co., passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2005 in Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg, where he has been a patient for the past several months. Born in Pinehurst, he was a son of the late Helen Wentzell. He was a retired employee of Nova Scotia Power Corporation; he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, branch 102, New Germany and was an avid horseshoe player. Surviving are his wife the former June Audrey Tanner, Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany; daughters, Linda (Jerry) Emino, Pleasantville; Deborah (Peter) Watson, Dundalk, Ont.; Marianne (Randy) Lowe, Springfield; Helen (Ainsley) Acker, Springfield. Sons, Myles (Linda), Watford; Michael (Rose), Voglers Cove; Brian, Yarmouth; Arnold, Sydney; Jeffrey, Pinehurst; Peter (Cathy), New Germany; Chris (Tanya), Porters Lake. 28 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; sister, Elaine Wright; brother, Merle, both of Alabama. Many nieces, nephews and cousins. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Memorial service 11 a.m. Friday in Trinity Lutheran Church, New Germany. Rev. Larry Ehrhardt officiating, private interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Rosedale Home for Special Care or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
