Obituary of Victor Ford Lohnes

Victor Ford Lohnes 76, Branch LaHave, Lun. Co., passed away January 31, 2008 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater Born in Branch LaHave, he was the son of the late Ralph and Nora (Crouse) Lohnes. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Leary); daughter, Rosalee (Gary) Wagner, Branch LaHave; stepsons, Ronnie Leary, Springfield; Gary Nelson, Dayspring; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters, Thelma, Audrey, Dorothy and Ferne. Visitation will be held Sunday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 11am Monday, Rev William Gustafson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Branch LaHave. No flowers by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Hillside Cemetery Fund, St James Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
