Obituary of Herbert Whynot

Herbert Albert Whynot 74 of Bridgewater, passed away Wednesday August 17, 2005 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Stewart Wm. Sr. and Maude Evelyn (Selig) Whynot. Herbie loved life and was a devoted son and brother. He loved fishing and hunting. He was a quiet man and loved his family. He picked apples in the USA and he worked picking tobacco in Ontario when he was a young man. He spent all his life in Bridgewater and was employed by Clyde Wile for 25 years. He is survived by his brothers, Fred (Goldie) and Stewart Jr. all of Bridgewater; sisters, Doris Kelley, Bridgewater; Janet Whynot, Liverpool; Margaret (Edward) Godfrey, Brooklyn, Queens County; Grace (Allison) Foster, Berwick. He was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Ann; brother, Everette and a brother in infancy. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A private family graveside service will be held in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater at a later date. There will be no visitation or flowers by request.
