Obituary of Lester Acker

Lester Eugene Acker 80, Springfield, Annapolis County, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Falkland Ridge, he was a son of the late Obediah and Gladys (Sarty) Acker. Surviving are his wife, the former, Marion Louise Harlow; daughter, Trudy (Danny) Covey, Yarmouth; son, Dwayne, Springfield; sister, Agnes (Douglas) Durling, Westfall; grandchildren, Amy Lynn and Adam James. He was predeceased by brothers, Malcolm and Merlin. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Thursday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 2 p.m. Friday in Springfield United Baptist Church, Springfield. Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
