Obituary of Marjorie Acker

Marjorie Emma Acker 86, of New Germany, Lunenburg County, passed away at Rosedale Home for Special Care on November 18, 2006. She was born in Meisner Section, Lunenburg County, the daughter of the late Hattie (Acker) and Harris Holland. She is survived by daughters, Marilyn (Waldo) McDow, New Ross and Debora Holdershaw, Bridgewater; 5 grandchildren and 11great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Crandall; a son Mark in infancy; great grandson Shawn in infancy; brothers Victor, Pearly, Morris and Russell. Visitation will be 7 – 9 pm Monday at Sweenys Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. The funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday at Springfield United Baptist Church, Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Springfield United Baptist Church Cemetery. No Flowers by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Springfield United Baptist Church Cemetery or Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany.
