Obituary of Leonard Casey

Leonard James Casey 83, of Midville Branch passed away February 2, 2001 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, after a short illness. Born in Springhill, NS, he was a son of the late Anthony and Theresa (Burke) Casey. He was a long time resident of Midville Branch and a member of the Lunenburg Fiddlers Association. He is survived by a brother David, Dartmouth; a sister Eileen ( Condy), California; a step daughter Katherine, Vernon, BC; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Helen ( Veinot). There will be no memorial service. The family will receive family and friends in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, Tuesday, from 7 to 9pm, with prayers being offered at 8:30pm . No flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bridgewater or any charity.
