Obituary of Violet Bush

Violet Evangeline Bush Of Crousetown. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Violet on May 25, 2006 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, at the age of 100, two weeks short of her 101st birthday. Born on the LaHave Islands June 8, 1905 she was the daughter of the late Hezekiah and Emily Tumblin. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are her son, Leon (Marjorie); grandchildren, Betty Lou (Patrick Duffney), David, Laura ( Scott Drummond) and Michelle; half sisters, Ruth Heim, Eldora Himmelman; half brother, John Tumblin and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence; a son in infancy; granddaughter, Patricia; sister, Sadie; brother, Austin. Family will receive visitors Sunday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 11am Monday, Rev Karen Ohrt officiating.. Burial will follow in the Peaceful Hill Cemetery, West Dublin. Immediate Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Violet’s memory to Shaid Animal Shelter, Petite Riviere Fire Department or charity of your choice.
