Obituary of Patricia Conrad

Patricia Adeline Conrad 72, Hebbville, formerly of Kingston, passed away suddenly at home on January 28, 2006. Born in North Williamston, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Velma (Bent) Banks. She was an active member of her community including being a life member of both the Kingston and Hebbville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliaries. She was very active in the life of the Bridgewater United Church, enjoying many groups and activities and serving on various committees including being the current chair of the Arts and Crafts group. In addition she was a founding and life long member and the former president of the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia. Pat loved her flower gardens, camping, watching the birds, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Harold; children Reg (Brenda), Scotsburn; Judy (Larry) Kinsman, Great Village; John (Linda), Wentzell’s Lake; Mike (Gail), Newcombville; Jeff (Joanne), Lunenburg; Connie (Kevin) Dollivar, Bridgewater; Chris (Sara), Pentz; as well as 15 grandchildren, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. She was predeceased by an infant daughter and a brother. Visitation at Sweeny’s Funeral Home in Bridgewater Monday, January 30 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00. A graveside burial service will be held at North Kingston Cemetery Tuesday, January 31, at 10:30. A memorial service to be held at Bridgewater United Church Tuesday, January 31, at 2:00, Rev Ivan Norton officiating. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to the Hebbville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary or the Mission and Service fund of the United Church of Canada.
