Alfred Blackmore Craig
64, of Bridgewater passed away on February 1st. 2006 in the Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville Alfred Blackmore Craig was born June 5th, 1941 in Edinburgh, Scotland to Alfred Blackmore Craig Sr. and Jessie Allen Craig (Gordon). Alfred grew up in Edinburgh with his younger twin siblings Patricia and Peter. In 1957, Alfred and the family moved to Canada where he utilized his skill, precision and attention to detail to become a watch maker and jeweler like his father. He is survived by his loving family: Sister Patricia Dorman (Fraser), brother, Peter Craig (Laurie) Alfred’s two sons, David Gordon Craig, Michael Stanley Craig (Crystal Robar); grandchildren, Amanda Craig and Austin Robar and Great Grand child Damian Croft; niece Lisa Harmon (Tim), Tantallon and their children Alexandria and Jessica, Angela Dorman (Jim Erickson) and her step-child Matthew Erickson, Victoria B. C., nephews Scotty Craig and Stephen Craig, Winnipeg, Man. He will be missed by his cousins and Aunt Connie Craig in Scotland. Alfred was preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Alfred Sr. The funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, February 8th at the St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater with Rev. Msgr. William Wamboldt officiating. No visitations by request of the family. Memorial donations may be made to MS Society, Mass Card for the soul of Alfred or charity of your choice.
