Obituary of Elizabeth Deal

Elizabeth Mary Deal 93, of Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater, formerly of Wileville. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Deal on September 27, 2006 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Aberystwyth, Wales, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Jenkins) Evans. May Elizabeth always be remembered for her generosity and caring for other people. She came to Canada a war bride through Pier 21 in Halifax in 1946. She was a member of St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater and a member of St. Paul’s LCW. She is survived by her son, Theodore and his wife Sonjia, Bridgewater; granddaughter, Vicki, Bridgewater; half sisters, Vera Turner and Gwenith Connell, both of England. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Gordon Deal; sister, Lillian; half brother, John; half sister, Phyllis McGonell, England. A memorial service will be held 11am Monday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, Rev. Paul Jensen officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to of St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater or the charity of your choice.
