Obituary of Marion Dennis

Darlene Lynn Doling 52, West LaHave, Lunenburg County, passed away suddenly on March 24, 2006 at the Q.E. II Health Sciences Centre, Infirmary Site, Halifax. Darlene was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and then moved to Nova Scotia in 1980 and grew to love the Maritimes. Darlene was a loving daughter, mother, sister and friend. She loved to laugh and lived life to the fullest. She had a real talent for rug hooking and quilting. She enjoyed many activities and loved to sail. Darlene will be greatly missed by her daughter, Melodee Webster, Mississauga, Ont; brother, Wes (Jean) McCune, Enderby, BC; nieces and nephews, Greg (Rachelle) McCune, Shelley (Rick) Hawris, Tracey (Clayton) Castle, Joanne (Ken) Davies, Dawn McCune; as well as many other relatives and close personal friends. Darlene was predeceased by her parents, Lionel and Margaret (McCune) Doling. Cremation has taken place, with no visitation at the funeral home. Memorial service 11 a.m. Friday, March 31, at Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Rev. Paul Jensen officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the cardiac care unit of the Halifax Infirmary.
