Wallace Chester Emeneau
84, of Hebbville, Lunenburg County, passed away peacefully September 25, 2006 at the Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Midville Branch, he was the son of the late Charles and Stella (Eisnor) Emeneau. He was employed with Acadia Construction for 37 years retiring in 1985. He always had a smile for everyone and was especially fond of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg for the wonderful care shown to Wallace while he resided there. He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Covey; daughter, Barbara (Gary) Snyder, Hebbville; granddaughters, Gail (Derek) Doucette, Fancy Lake; Lori Snyder (Glen Buchanan), Edmonton, Alberta; great grandchildren, Rielle and Marli; sisters, Lillian (Lloyd) Hebb, Hebbville; Violet Manthorne, Bridgewater; half sister, Sharon Emeneau, Bayport. He was predeceased by a sister, Hilda in infancy. A memorial service will be held 2pm Thursday in the Bridgewater United Church, Rev Ivan Norton officiating. A private family burial will follow in the Hebbville Cemetery. There will be no visitation in the funeral home by request. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bridgewater United Church, Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg or the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
