Edith Gertrude Fancy 89, Pleasant River, Queens County, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2006 in North Queen’s Nursing Home, Caledonia, where she had been residing. She was born in Middleton, to the late Henry Alfred and Lydia Blanche (Murley) Mosher, and grew up and lived in Pleasant River. Surviving are her daughters, Edith Colp, South Brookfield; Joan Wentzel, Elmsdale; son, Gary, Pleasant River. Grandchildren, Lisa Fancy (Gerold Schmidt), Halifax; Glenda Wentzel, Marsha Wentzel both of Dartmouth; Byron Colp, Oshawa; Joseph Colp, Wilmot; Jeffery Colp, Calgary; Donna Colp, Hacketts Cove; Darrell Colp, Lake Echo; sister, Ruth Smith, South Brookfield; niece, Jacqueline Smith, Lunenburg; nephew, Walter Smith;. She was predeceased by husband, Roy; half brother, Nelson Waterman. Visitation, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today (Thursday) in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral 2 p.m. Friday in Trinity United Church, Pleasant River. Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Pleasant River. Donations may be made to Trinity United Church.
