Obituary of Durward Haines

Durward Chester Haines 80, Farmington, Lunenburg County, passed away on Sunday, August 06, 2006 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Farmington, he was a son of the late Harold and Cora (Hirtle) Haines. He was a retired local farmer, trucker and school bus driver. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are his daughters, Linda (Blaine) Moffat, Farmington; Nadine (Wesley) Eisener, Kingston; sons, David (Terre), Farmington; Harold, Dibgy; Mark, Alberta. 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 3 nieces, 3 nephews. He was predeceased by his wife the former Enid Ruth Morton; sister, Alice Wagner. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Rev. Patricia Gow officiating, with burial to follow in Parkdale Community Cemetery, Parkdale.
