Obituary of Anna Humby

Anna Marie Humby 80, Hillside Pines Nursing Home, Bridgewater, formerly of Dayspring, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Monday, January 30, 2006 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born October 23, 1925 in Mulgrave, she was a daughter of the late Wylie and Ida Digdon. Her love and devotion to family, positive attitude and strength were an inspiration to all. She will be dearly missed. Surviving are twin sons, Wylie (Violet), Bridgewater; Wayne (Sue), Bradford, Ont.; daughter, Linda (David) Kay, Timberlea; brother, Roy, Mulgrave. Loving Nanny, Granny and Grandma to grandsons, Stephen, Gregg, Chad, Kelsey and Jesse; granddaughter Cheryl. Great Grandma to Megan and Jarod. Beloved wife of 55 years and partner in ministry to her late husband Rev. Reuben Humby; also predeceased by brothers, Willoughby and Allison; infant daughter, Rebecca Ann. Visitation for family and friends will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral 2 p.m. Thursday in Bridgewater United Church. Rev. Ivan Norton officiating. Reception to follow in Bridgewater United Church CE Centre. Private family burial will be in Dayspring Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations may be made to charity of choice.
