Obituary of Joan Maro

Joan Marion Maro August 1927 – August 2006, slipped away quietly from her family August 11th 2006 at home in Bridgewater, formally of Halifax. Left to carry on is her daughter Kristene (David) Frausell, Wileville; grandson Kristoffer (Heidi) Frausell, Newcombville; son Norman (Christine) Maro, Lower Sackville; granddaughter Karen (Darrell) Staples; great-grandsons Connor and Dylan Staples, Middle Sackville. Predeceased by her son Kristoffer Maro and husband Captain Kristoffer Maro. Mom was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Lower Sackville. Also surviving are her brothers Gerald (Joan) Tanner, Cookville; Donald (Shirley) Tanner, Bridgewater; sisters Shirley (Robert) MacDonald, Lunenburg; Sylvia Selig, Lunenburg; Ruth Dalton, Yarmouth. Predeceased by brother Ronald and sisters Lila and Mabel.With the help of Sweeny’s Funeral Home Bridgewater and Rev. Heather Spencer, a graveside service will take place Wednesday August 16th 2006 at 2pm in Brookside Cemetery Bridgewater.
