Obituary of Lloyd Oickle

Lloyd William Oickle 71, Simpsons Corner, formerly of North River, Lunenburg County, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2006 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Lakeview, King Co.; he was a son of the late John and Jenny (Barkhouse) Oickle. Surviving are his wife Lois Maling, Springfield; daughter, Rose, Springfield; sons, William (Jennifer Baker), Clementsvale; David (Stephanie Smith), Simpsons Corner; sisters, Ruth Reid, Cannan; Mary (Francis) Keddy, Waterville; brothers, Albert, Ontario; James, East Dalhousie. Grandson, Jonathan Oickle, step grandchildren, Cecilia Smith, Donald “DJ” Smith, Caleb Huntley; a nephew, several nieces. He was predeceased by sister, Alma Rose Oickle; brother, Maynard. No visitation at the funeral home by request. A public graveside service will be 2 p.m., Thursday in St. Cyprian’s Anglican Church Cemetery, East Dalhousie. Rev Catherine Robar officiating.
