Obituary of Mabel Rhodenizer

Mabel Rosena Rhodenizer 94, Parkdale, Lunenburg County, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2006 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Upper Branch, she was a daughter of the late Silas and Ruella (Whynot) Cook. She was a member of the Emmanuel United Baptist Church, Parkdale; member of the Women’s Missionary Society and the former Rebekah’s Lodge, Parkdale. Mabel enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting and cooking in the kitchen, she will be more widely remembered for her many wedding cake creations. Surviving are her daughter, Marilyn (Rev. John) Kaulback, Bridgewater; sons, S. Merle (Miriam); Mervin (June), all of Parkdale. Sister, Eva (Edward “Ted”) Lambert, Bridgewater. 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, L. Milton Rhodenizer; grandson, Joey. Visitation 2-4 p.m. Sunday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 11 a.m. Monday in Emmanuel United Baptist Church, Parkdale. Rev. Jennifer Joudrey officiating with private family interment in Parkdale Community Cemetery, Parkdale.
