Obituary of Linda Smith

Linda Bernice Smith 86, of Bridgewater, passed away January 16, 2006, in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Lunenburg, she was a daughter of the late Newton and Lena (Zinck) Bachman. She was a member of the Bridgewater United Baptist Church and a former member of the Eastern Star. She was a great friend to all. She is survived by daughters, Janice (Philip) Wentzell, Berwick; Rosemary Veinotte (Gerald Hebb), Bridgewater; son, Jim (Kelli) Veinot, Wentzell Lake; grandchildren, Holly (Bob) Abbott, Orangeville, Ont.; Tyler Wentzell, Berwick; Sarah Veinot and Mary Veinot, both of Wentzell Lake; sister, Natalie Corkum, Lunenburg; cousin, Jeanette Conrad, St. Albert, Alberta. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 1:30pm Wednesday in the Bridgewater United Baptist Church, Rev Eric Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bridgewater United Baptist Church, N. S. Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
