Obituary of Frederick Thompson

Frederick Zenas Thompson 91, of Lower Branch, Lunenburg County, passed away November 4, 2006 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Blockhouse, he was a son of the late Albert and Ida (Joudrey) Thompson. He was a veteran of the Second World War having served overseas and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 24, Bridgewater. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice (Dorey); sons, Raymond (Diane), Midville Branch; David, Conquerall Mills; Clarence (Elizabeth), New Canada; daughters, Sadie Veinot, Lawrencetown; Marguerite (Ben) Slauenwhite, Grand Pre; Evelyn Thompson, Mahone Bay; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11am Wednesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, Rev. William Gustafson officiating. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery, Branch LaHave, at a later date. No flowers or visitation by request.
