Obituary of Harold Tompkins

Harold Cecil Tompkins 86, of Bridgewater, passed away March 15, 2006 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late William and Gertrude (Oickle) Tompkins. He is survived by his wife Margaret “Sally” (Frank); daughters, Elizabeth (Luke Dugas) Durling, Digby; Donna (Paul) Conrad, Hebbville; Louise (Wayne) Wentzell, Auburndale; Dianne (Fred) Trupp, Branch LaHave; grandchildren, Tracey (Dave) Macmillan, Petawawa, Ont.; Tammy (Keith) Brown, Scotland; Darren Durling, Halifax; Sharalene Trupp, Branch LaHave; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Grace Murray, Livley, Ont.; Goldie (Bud) Martin, Broad Cove; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, William; adopted brother, Dean Tompkins; sister, Beatrice. Visitation will be held Friday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 11am Saturday. Private family burial will be in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only.
