Obituary of Frederick Anthony MacKay

of Frederick Anthony MacKay Passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2008, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, May 27, 1950, he was a son of the late J. Arthur and Annie (Silver) MacKay. Surviving are his brothers, Paul, Eastern Passage; Paige (Carolyn), Bridgewater; adopted sisters (cousins), Elaine (Harold) Uhlman and family, Jamie (Laura) and Elanya (Greg) Wilkinson; partner, Dave Parsons, Bridgewater; numerous cousins and their families and friends throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario, Alberta, Massachusetts and New Zealand. Fred was predeceased by his sister, Esther. According to Fred’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday, June 27, in Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Upper Northfield. A private burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Upper Northfield, Rev. William Gustafson officiating. There will be a reception following the service in the Upper Northfield Community Hall. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church or Hillside Cemetery.
